Force-Free & Fear-Free: We believe a trainer's skill should always be greater than their tools. We are a force-free company and don't rely on shock, prong, or choke collars.

No Judgement, Just Progress: If you're currently using corrective tools, we view them as a 'bandage for a bullet wound' as they don't address the underlying issue. We're here to help you reduce tool use and address the root cause of the behavior.

Training: Tuesday-Friday 8 am-6pm, Sat. 10am-1pm
Daycare and Training closed all major holidays.
YOUR PATH TO A BETTER LIFE:
Step 1: The Application
Tell us about your best friend using the form on this page. We'll review your needs and reach out for a quick chat to ensure we're the right fit.
Step 2a: For Training (The Deep Dive)
Most of the time, we require an In-Person Behavioral Assessment. We'll meet your dog, prescribe homework, and build a training plan. We will help you pick a program.
Step 2b: For Daycare & Boarding (The Trial Day)
Safety is our priority. All new guests participate in a Trial Day at the Dog House. This allows us to get to know your dog's personality and ensure they feel happy & relaxed in our home-style environment.
Step 3: A Great Life Together
Once the "get to know you" phase is complete, you're officially part of the Timber and Co. Pack! You'll have priority access to our calendar and peace of mind knowing your dog is well cared for and well behaved.

Please Note: To ensure a calm, quiet, and stress-free environment for our guests, Timber & Co. is a private residential facility and open by appointment only. We are conveniently located in West Salem, just off the second bridge exit, which skips the bridge rush hour traffic. We will share the exact address when your trial day or board and train/day school is booked.
